Nnamdi Kanu Bars South East leaders, COAS Buratai from travelling abroad

IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu in a broadcast on Sunday, named South-East governors, Ohanaeze President-General, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai as those to be attacked by the group.

Kanu also offered One million naira reward for anyone willing to provide credible information on their respective travel itinerary.

He alleged that a member of the group had made money available for credible information anytime the governors from South East and other leaders from the zone would be travelling.

According to him: “If you are working in any Government House in South East and know which of the cities in the world the governor is going to be, let us so that we will mobilise for them and you will be rewarded with the sum of N1 million”

Kanu accused the governors of being behind the proscription of the group, adding that “They said they proscribed IPOB to douse rising tension in the region. What caused the tension is because the military raided my house in Umuahia.”

Explaining why Ekweremadu was attacked, Kanu said the former Deputy Senate President connived with the governors to proscribed the group.

He said: “They also brought the military to raid my House in Afara, Umuahia. How many times has Ekweremadu spoken against the killings and kidnapping happening in his state? He (Ekweremadu) went to celebrate the New Yam Festival in Nuremberg Germany when his people are killed and our women raped.
