I am happy to be a coward- Tuface Idibia

International superstar, 2face Idibia has spoken for the first time after backing out of the much publicised #IStandwithNigeria protest which held on Monday 6th February in  lagos and other parts of the federation.

2face was expected to
lead the protest but pulled out just a day before the protest.

Speaking for the first time after the pull out saga, he released a video on his instagram page where he said he will always speak for the people even though he has been labeled a coward.

He thanked his fans for their support, and the courage to carry on the protest after he backed out.

In the video he said "I want to thank you all for the messages and solidarity. I watched with tears in my eyes as nigerians came out to speak out and protest on the street, on social media, on television and on radio stations.
I watched as nigerians demonstrated that no one voice is louder than the other. I also watched as people called me a coward but I am happy I am a coward who spoke out and will always continue to do so. I watched as many of you defiled all odds and came out to tell the government that you deserve better lives. I am grateful to everyone who lent his or her voice when I lost mine. You guys are the real heroes. I am happy you guys came out and came out peacefully".

2face,however, denied that he was picked by the Department of state service Dss, thereby forcing him to dissociate himself from the protest.
